  1. Health & Human Services

    The Sawyer County Health Department offers a number of programs and services to promote healthy living and health awareness.

  2. Highway

    The Highway Department is responsible for constructing and maintaining 229 miles of County Trunk Highways and 162 miles of State Trunk Highways in Sawyer County.​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  5. Land Records / Surveyor

    The Land Records Department is the custodian of and maintains the county’s assessment and real property listings.

    The Maintenance and Custodial Department performs custodial, grounds keeping, maintenance and repairs, as well as fabrication of components and renovations to the county's facilities and does service work on all county vehicles and equipment with the exception of the highway shops and equipment.

    The Register of Deeds maintains public records and documents pertaining to real estate ownership.

  8. Sheriff

    The men and women of the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Department are dedicated to provide our citizens and visitors with a safe environment to live, work and play.

    The Treasurer performs a number of financial services for the County, such as collecting taxes, allocating tax funds, and serving as bank for the County government.
